2026 BBCC BUMS Annual Regatta & F18 Canadian Championships Notice of Race - NOR 2026 Beach Bums Event Rules

Arrival and Setup:
- F18s to arrive
- on Thursday Sept 10th starting at 10:00am
- on Friday Sept 11th starting at 8:00am
- Other Classes to arrive
- on Thursday Sept 10th starting at 10:00am
- on Saturday Sept 12th starting at 8:00am
Details are as follows:
- Friday September 11th
- F18 arrival and registration
- F18 9:30am Skippers Meeting
- F18 Racing to start at 11:00am
- Other Classes can race, however they must attend 9:30 Skipper Meeting and be on the line for the first race at 11:00am (other classes must race the entire day)
- Post Race Munchies
Friday September 11th - Long Distance Race - Approximately 2:00pm start (Fixed marks)
Open to all boats not participating in the formal racing listed above
Awards for 1st Place. Coarse TBD on Friday- Saturday September 12th
- Other Classes arrival and registration
- Skippers meeting 9:30am Racing starts at 11:00am
- Evening Dinner at BBCC Club
- Sunday September 7th
- Racing starts at 10am
- No race after 2pm
- Awards and Luncheon at BBCC Club
F18s will have their own start
Other classes that have more than 5 boats will have their own start
Mandatory:
For F18s
All participants must be a current member of the CanF18 Association https://www.canf18.com/en.
To become a member of CanF18 Association just send the following to the CanF18 President:
- your name
- your address
- an e-transfer of $40 CAD to president@canf18.com
Membership would be verified at the registration desk at the venue.
For all participants, a proof of liability insurance of $100 000 would be verified at the registration desk at the venue.
